On October 4, 2017, by letter from NRC (J. Kim) to OPPD (M. Fisher) Fort Calhoun Station, Unit 1 - Partial Exemptions From The Requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, Criterion XVII; 10 CFR 50.59(d)(3); And 10 CFR 50.71(c) (CAC NO.

MF9693) (ML17172A730)(ML17172A735)(NRC-17-063), the NRC granted exemptions to maintain records associated with plant operation.

These exemptions will eliminate the requirements to maintain records that are no longer necessary because of the permanently shut down status of the facility.
