OF FEBRUARY 29, 1988 MEETING WITH TVA DEALING WITH BFN UNIT 2 RESOLUTION OF CONCERNS ON ELECTRICAL CABLE AMPACITY i
The neeting convened at 1:30 p.m.
The list of attendees is Enclosure 1.
The afterncon meeting was for the purpose of providing the staff with the BFN criteria for resolution of ampacity concerns.
The meeting agenda and viewgraphs sumarizing the content of BFN's presentation are Enclosure 2.
Resolution of ampacity concerns involves a three phase program.
Phase I is the same approach used for Sequoyah (Enclosure 2 Item 5 of "Problem Solution and Status").
Phases II and III nust be evaluated. All cables detemined unacceptable in Phase I will be evaluated in Phase II i
(Enclosure 2, Item 7 of "Problem Solution end Status").
Cables failing Phase Il evaluation are evaluated according to the criteria in Phase III (Enclosure 2, Item 7 of "Problem Solutinn and Status").
The BFN proposed schedule is laid out on the last page of Enclosure 2.
After discussion with the staff it was agreed that a final schedule will be firmed l
up in mid March 1988.
