This is in response to your letter dated July 2, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), copies of all records provided to and received from any Congressional member, committee or
. subcommittees regarding any pending or completed escalated enforcement action commenced against any power reactor licensee or applicant since January 1, 1984.
The documents identified on the enclosed appendix are being placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) located at 1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555, in file folder F0IA-85-478 in your name. Copies of the Enforcement Notifications are maintained in the PDR, compiled in notebooks and also in the docket case file to which they pertain.
In additkn, correspondence between NRC and Congressman Markey related to the Grand Gulf nuclear power plant was addressed in our response to a previous F0IA request. You may obtain access to the request by requesting file folder F01A-85-186 under the name Cunningham, which is also maintained in the PDR.
Finally, enforcement actions relating to the Comanche Peak, Waterford, and Three Mile Island nuclear power plants were specifically discussed in open hearing or in information transmitted for the record of the March 22, 1985, hearing before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water t
