SUBJECT:

QA RECORD RETENTION The enclosed me[norandum from OIE dated February 18,1985, called'to our attention an inconsistency in the Catawba Unit 1 Technical Specifications (TS) regarding the OA record retention requirements. The same memorandum also suggested that other TS should be reviewed for the same inconsistency.

By copy of this memorandum, each project manager is requested to review his/her facility's TS to ascertain whether the same inconsistency exists.

If it does, the project manager should inform his/her utility of this matter and of the appropriate correction as recommended in the enclosure.

Each utility shnuld then request a TS change.
