'that modifications be made to correct an error in the Action Staterents for
-he Ststion Batteries tecnnical specifications in NUREG-0452, Rev. 4, " Standard Technical Specifications for Westinghouse Pressurized Water Reactors." As 1
indicated in the attached memorandum, we were consulted regarding the inacver-tent error and we concur with the proposed corrective action. We recommend correcting the noted errer in the Diablo Canyon 1 Technical Specifications l
prior to issuing its full power license and recommend that Summer 1 Technical Specifications be corrected as soon as possible.

this action. The proposed revision is a correction of an error in existing ji-STS requirements as opposed to imposing new requirements.
The proposed STS revision does not express a new position or interpretation and, therefore, need not be referred to CRGR.
In accordance with Item 8 of Enclosure 1 to f!RR Office Letter No. 38, we intend to ircorporate these changes in the next revisions to the STS documents and tc implement these charges in suosequent OL reviews.
The proposed revisions to Specifications 3.8.2.1 anc 3.8.2.2 are attached (Enclosure 2).
The procosec changes are indicated by vertical lines in the margins.
