Energy Policies (JULEP) requesting that the Connission revoke the low power i

license and de.ny the full power operating license for the Grand Gulf Nuclear l

Station, Unit 1, pending the resolution of the issues in regard to the Transamerica Delaval, Incorporated (TOI) diesel generators. The petition, filed March 29, 1984, is being treated under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Connission's regulations, and accordingly, appropriate action will be taken on the petition within a rea'sonable time.

In order to assist the staff in its evaluation of the petition, we request,

, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(f), that you submit a response to us in writing under oath or affinnation that addresses each of the issues identified by the petition

,as related to the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 and provide this response
