This replies to your August 31 letter to Chairman Nunzio J. Palladino.
To obtain a copy of "...the handbook or the' specification nanual that describes the requirements and the testing procedures..." for the t
diesel generators to be used at the Shoreham nuclear plant. I suggest you contact the Long Island Lighting Company and/or the manufacturer of the diesel generators.
It is possible that a copy might be included in the Shoreham docket file in the NRC's Public Document Room here in Washington, but I doubt it.
