indicates an earth tremor has occured and the recording accelerometers have been triggered.
a.
Check Seismic Acceleration Play-back recorder L51-V6R-R601 on panel H11-D701 to determine Magnitutie of tremor.
b.
Shut down reactor per HNP-1-1025 if tremor exceeds OBE

O. 08cr horizontal and/or 0.054& vertical.
c.
Monitor plant operating parameters for abnormalities.
d.
Conduct visual surveillance of plant structures for abnormalities, and report findings to Shift Supervisor.

Depending on the magnitude of the earthquake, refer to HNP-4420 for notification of an unusual event.

SEISMIC PEAK SHOCK RECORDER HIGH G LEVEL (Setpoints in tables below) indicates earthquake accelerations approaching or exceeding DBE of 0.15& and peak shock recorder L51-Vbe--N105 is triggered.
Amber light on Annunciator L51-VbC-R620, panel H11-PG01, indicates earthquake accelerations on Unit 1; red lights indicate earthquake accelerations on Unit 2.
