Dear Mr. Stolz:
In response to your letter of October 30, 1984, requesting training curricula and operating procedures concerning seismic events, the attached procedures and lesson plans are provided. The 4000 series procedures relating to a seismic event are trained on during simulator training and may include earthquake scenarios as related to HNP-4858 (Naturally Occurring Phenonmenon), although there are no formal lesson plans on this topic. Definitions of OBE and DBE are discussed in license training material on page 3.2-2 of the training text and in Lesson Plan L-RQ-409. If you have any questions regarding this response, please call C.
