Dear Mr. Perry:
Enclosed is _the Draft Suffolk County Radiological Emergency Response Plan.
The plan was submitted to the Suffolk legislature by the Suffolk County Executive for its review pursuant to Suffolk County Resolution 262-1982.
This plan has not been accepted by the County legislature and the County legislature wants to hold hearings thereon in late January in accordance with County Resolution No. 457-82. We enclose with the plan copies of the letter submitting the plan to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board which attached copies of the subject resolutions.
It is suggested that your agency might wish to begin looking at the plan so that in the event of its approval by the County legislature you may more quickly review it.
