SUBJECT:
FOIA-84-96 Dow still has pending an FOIA request which includes your files. Having spent some time reviewing _ files in the Resident Inspector trailer, I suspect that your files may contain many documents which do not fall within the request, are subject to an F0IA exemption, are already in the PDR, or have already been provided to Dow from other persons' files.
I am hereby requesting that you review your files to delete any documents which fall into the above categories.
If you believe any documents are withholdable under the F0IA, please identify them so that a determination can be made.
Even though we had previously spoken in terms of making your files available to Dow in our offices, that was never intended to be prior to a review to determine whether the files fell within the request and, if so, whether any of the documents were withholdable.
Please advise me as to when your review can be completed.
