3 NA HA INSTRU-Unit tripped when all of the governor valvos closed while the computers which ca lculate the position of the high pressure turbine governor va lves were being synch ron i zed.
As currectfve action, outputs of the three computing channels were monitored with simulated inputs, and the channel synchronization operation was tested prior to 55% reactor power.
