The risks are too great to trust Holtec, a company which could easily be a fly-by-night outfit which could slough off a subsidiary and let it fall into bankruptcy.

Entergy should continue to maintain its license in the decommissioning project since they are familiar with the operations of the site. It would be an abrogation of responsibility to not do so.

The public also needs to have ability to have an active voice in the organization once the decommissioning is completed and New York State needs to ensure that it is properly secured and the funded.

Holtec's plan to ship nuclear waste by barge threatens New York and Manhattan like no other threat before.

Holtec's business model is to hire the lowest bidder and all of our safety should not be left in the hands of this untrustworthy company.

I therefore respectfully urge you to reject Holtec as the licensee entrusted to decommission Indian Point.
