LaSalle Nuclear Power Station Units 1 and 2 LaSalle Station Security Plan NRC Docket Nos. 50-373-50-374 TAC Nos. 65376/65377 Enclosed are the original and three (3) copies of Revision 51 of the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station Security Plan. This submittal contains the following changes:
Chapter 1: Clarifies watchman as an unarmed position.
Chapters 3, Reclassifies guard to a member of the security 7, 8, 9,10 organization
& 14 Chapter 6:
Changes " security officer" to " personnel".
Chapter 7:
Eliminates the hourly patrol of vital area doors due to cardreader failure; alarm and lock remain operative.
Changes the patrol of vital area doors due to alarm failure; lock and cardreaders remain operative, from once per hour to four (4) times per shift.
Chapter 12: References Chapter 7 for badge control procedures.
Chapter 14: " Guard" changed to " Security" Appendix B: The age requirement for unarmed security is J
being established at 18 years of age.
The requirement for a polygraph examination is being repositioned to include only our armed personnel.
