LaSalle Nuclear Power Stations Units 1 and 2 LaSalle Station Security Plan NRC Docket Nos. 50-373 & 50-374 7AC Nos 65376/65377 m
Enclosed are the original and three (3) copies of Revision 47 of the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station Security Plan. This Revision addresses an inspector follow-up item identified in LaSalle's inspection Report dated June 30,1993 which stated that some Security Plan drawings of the Main Access Facility (MAF) did not accurately reflect the building design. The Security Plan drawings of the MAF have been updated to better rcflect actual building design. In addition, a number of Security Plan drawings were updated to include the construction of a new service building and warehouse. This Revision also defines the Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS), eliminates the color coding of security badges to indicate employment relationship and updates the current station organizational ctructures as it applies to the Security Department.
Pursuant to 10CFR 50.4, the signed original and three copies of the security plan revisions are being provided to your off%a. A copy of this letter and two copies of the security plan revisions are being sent to Region Ill.
We have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the nian. These enclosures contain Safeguards Information which must be protected from p-
,a disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
