LaSalle Nuclear Power Stations Units 1 and 2 LaSalle Station Security Plan MILC Docket Nos. 50-373 & 50-374 TAC Nos. 65376/65377 Enclosed are the original and three (3) copies of Revision 50 of the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station Security Plan. This revision addresses the issues identified in Mr. John A. Zwolinski's response of April 26,1994 regarding submittal of Revision 49 of the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station Security Plan.
The issues identified requiring re-submittal pursuant to 50.90, have reverted back to the prior revision approved under 50.54p. In addition, the following changes / clarifications have been made:
Chapter 1: The definition; member of the security organization, has been expanded to include being equipped with a chemical agent.
Chapter 3: A clarification of the vehicle requirement in providing a replacement vehicle.
Chapter 7: The requirement for a signature on the visitor registration form has been eliminated.
Vital equipment within the Protected Area, which would be accessible by a vehicle is addressed along with a clarification of escort requirements.
Appendix B: Task 4.5; control vehicle entry / exits at alternate Protected Area gates and 12.1; meet physical examination requirements, has been re-assigned under the category of g
response team member.

..o U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page Two Pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p), the signed original and three copies of the Security Plan revisions are being provided to your office. A copy of this letter and two copies of the Security Plan revisions are being sent to Region Ill.
We have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. These enclosures contain Safeguards information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
