Vogtle Electric Generating Plant - Unit 2 Readiness Review Program An update to Module 03A of the Vogtle Unit 2 Readiness Review Program, entitled Initial Test Program - Preoperational Test Phase, is enclosed for review and acceptance by the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC).
This update is to be inserted into your copy of the module as directed by the i
enclosed Revision Insertion Instructions.
This update contains yellow pages denoting the following report revisions:
- 1) Revision 2 to Phase 1.

This revision reflects editorial changes, project status changes,

and a change in the effective FSAR amendment.

- 2) The Phase 3 evaluation.
Phase 3 consists of a test procedure implementation assessment, followup on phase 1 comitment implementation, and followup on phase 1 and phase 2 corrective actions.
Phase 3 is the final pha'se of a three-phase review of the initial test program.
Based on the review detailed in this module, I am of the opinion that, with implementation of corrective actions to the findings identified, the initial test program - preoperational test phase is proceeding in conformance with licensing comitments and program test procedures.
The information herein is, to the best of my knowledge, factual and technically correct.
This submittal contains no proprietary information and may be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
