Enclosures 1 through 5 provide the semi-annual update of the' Ninth Edition of the Integrated Implementation Schedule.(IIS) for the San Onofre Nuclear l
Generating Station (SONGS), Units 2 and 3. lists the Schedule A, l
B, and C projects for SONGS 2 and 3, completed during the recent Cycle 7 outages. lists the Cycle 7 non-outage work.
Enclosures 3 and 4 list by outage, the Schedule A, 8, and C projects for SONGS 2 and 3, respectively. lists the ongoing evaluations for major issues for SONGS 2 and 3.

The Detailed Control Room Design Review Modifications noted in Reference 2 (DCP 6609) were completed during the SONGS 2 and 3 Cycle 7 refueling outages.

The outage related portions of DCP 6605.09, CR 61 Panel Modifications, have l
been completed and the non-outage portions will be completed by 4/29/94 (i.e.,
i during the first 120 days of Unit 3 Cycle 7 operation, as noted in i
Reference 1).
This work will complete the Human Engineering upgrades determined necessary by the Control Room Design Review evaluations as part of NUREG 0700.
l The safety related 480 VAC Load Center Transformers for Units 2 and 3 were replaced under DCP 6974.
The non-safety related transformers associated with this modification will be replaced during Cycle 8 and on a non-outage, as-needed basis.
This work has been moved from Schedule B to Schedule C.
The preliminary Cycle 9 scope of work is being developed.
It should be included in the Tenth Edition of the IIS.
DCP 6863.01, Pressurizer Vent Modification, was completed for Unit 2 during the Cycle 7 outage. However, this Schedule C work was deleted from the Unit 3 work scope for Cycle 7.
The Westinghouse Analytical Ranking Program (WARP) was not used to rank the relative safety significance of each Schedule A and B modification because their implementation schedules have been established in separate correspondence, if you have any questions on the Ninth Edition of the San Onofre Units 2 and 3 IIS, please let me know.
