Dear Mr. Ahearne:

Your help is needed in getting NRC action for start-up of Three Mile Island Unit-1.

Startup of this plant is urgently needed to replace the extremely high-priced oil-fired power that is presently being used by those people living in that area.

Unit-1 was not damaged in the earlier incident.

There is no technical reason why the plant should not be started ug and producing power.
