FORT CALHOUN STATION, UNIT NO.1 - AMENDMENT N0.155 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. DPR-40 (TAC NO. M85116)

The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.155 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No.1. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated December 7, 1992, as supplemented by letters dated March 19, April 28, and May 14, 1993.

The amendment changes the Technical Specifications to increase the fuel ,

storage capacity in the spent fuel pool to 1083 fuel assemblies. j i

A license condition has been added that addresses rack changeover, in l accordance with your letter of December 7,1992. The specific wording of the l condition has been discussed with and agreed to by your staff. The license ,

condition states when the new technical specifications will be applicable. In this regard, we request that, when you install a new rack, you notify us in writing within 2 weeks as to the installation date.

A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. A Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's next biweekly Federal Reaister notice.
