SECY-81-466 - PROPOSED EXpgRT OF ADDITIONAL REACTOR COMPONENTS TO ARGENTINA THROUGH WEST GERMANY (XCOM0035, AMENDMENT 01)
This is to advise you that the Commissioners have reviewed the subject license to Carpenter Technology Corporation.
The Commission (with all Commissioners approving) has accepted your recommendation to amend this license to enable transfer of additional zirconium and hafnium reactor components to West Germany and Argentina.
Commissioner Gilinsky assumes that the same assurances which applied to XCOM0035 apply here as well.
The staff has informed SECY that such will be the case.
The Office of International Programs was informed of this action by telephone on August 24, 1981.
