The Division of Rules and Records has reviewed the draft final rule, m-dated June 30, 1982, that adds 550.49 to 10 CFR Part 50.

1.

The authority citation for Part 50 has been corrected to reflect additions implemented in the Employee Protection Rule.

This rule has been approved by the Commission and will be published as a final rule shortly.

2.

Additional language is added to the Paperwork Reduction Review statement to reflect the OMB control number.

3.

The DRR comments enclosed are in addition to those sent to Satish Aggarwal by Joe Cawley dated July 1,1982.

4.

We have enclosed a copy of NUREG-0588 in which we have identified some of the information collection requirements which are subject to OMB clearance.

The Division of TIDC has reviewed the draft final rule and concurs subject to the condition that the information collection requirements imposed by either IEEE 323-1974 or NUREG 0588 be approved by OMB before the effective date of this final rule.
