EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION RULEMAKING S

Equipment qualification requirements for seismic and dynamic loading, require-ments for environmental qualification of mechanical equipment, and requirements for accreditation of equipment testing laboratories are currently under review, and the entire activity is being coordinated through the Equipment Qualification Program Plan. The Equipment Qualification Program Plan is currently being revir..?d to incorporate the Comission coments.

Representatives from my office will brief the CRGR on January 7,1982 on the status of this activity with assistance from representatives from the Office of Research and Office of Inspection and Enforcement.
