Narrative

Fbport for LER 50-321/1981-073 During normal power operation it was discovered that torus wafer temperature g

was 97 F.

This exceeds the limit of less than or equal to 95 F. as stated 2

in Tech. Specs. 3.7. A.1.c.

Torus cooling was immediagely initiated and torus water temperature was decreased to less than 95 F. in less than 24 hours2.777778e-4 days
0.00667 hours
3.968254e-5 weeks
9.132e-6 months
.

1 The cause of the torus water high temperature was due to continuous hot i

weather, thus increasing the temperature of the Rx building environment.

This is a recurring problem during the hot months of the summer.
