Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 bS Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 Proposed Revision 1 to Request No. 62 to Operating License Gentlemen:

Enclosed are three (3) originals and thirty-seven (37) copies of a proposed revision to Amendment 62 of the Beaver Valley Power Station Technical Specification Appendix A. This proposal requests that Technical Specifications Sections 5 and 6 as submitted by our letter dated April 10, 1981, which is pending review, be modified as shown in the attachment to this letter. This revision reflects comments on the April 10, 1981, submittal made by the NRC staff and in addition, is descriptive of the final organizational structure which is planned for implementation in the near future. We will provide notification to the NRC when the transition from the interim organization, as described in our April 10, 1981, submittal to the final organization, as described in this submittal, is complete.

Safety Evaluation The purpose of this revision is to set forth the newly defined Nuclear Division and Facility organization to more accurately reflect actual organizational practice.

The OSC and ORC has reviewed this proposed revision to Amendment 62 of the Technical Specifications and have determined that there are no unreviewed safety implications associated with this change and that this revision does not constitute an unreviewed safety question.

Since this is a revision to an existing change request, we have CD/

determined that no fee is required. y Very t ly your ,
