SUBJECT:
Background Information on Beaver Valley Congressman Eugene Atkinson will be visiting the Beaver Valley nuclear plant the afternoon of April 24. Prior to the visit, his legislative assistant has asked if we could provide the Congressman with a brief outline of the operating history of the plant. Beaver Valley has a very poor record for operation.
It would be useful to identify which shutdowr.s were safety-related and which were for other reasons.
In order to get the infonnation to the Congressman before the visit, it would be useful if our office could get it by COB, Friday, April 17.
