An NRC.'tter dated October 1, 1980 described an NRC program to audit the test.Tg of equipment for environmental qualification and j

requested voluntary industry cooperation in the auditing of the industry testing programs.

Duquesne Light Company has not yet made plans to conduct environmental I

qualification tests of any equipment related to Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 during the next two years. We will notify you if we decide to conduct any tests for the purpose of environmental qualification of safety-related equipment.
