Dear Mr. Ross:
This memorandum confirms a telephone conversation on September 4, 1980 with Mr. Mel Fields concerning the position of Beaver Valley Unit No. 1 with respect to the wide range pressure inputs and the RTD uncertainty.
~
The subcooling meter presently utilizes one safety grade range pressure input, the other wide range input is not considered safety grade. DLC will take the'necessary action to upgrade the non safety grade input to safety grade during the second refueling.
The uncertainty listed for the RTD's listed in tne table of our response takes into account all variables (i.e. calibration,. instrument drift, indi-cator accuracy, etc.) The overall uncertainty listed for the display is for the difference between the input to the subcooling meter and the meter display.
If you have any further questions, please contact me.
Very truly yours,
