Kensington has elected to be notified upon the Mmtion of an UNUStRL EVEtc. h Rockingham County Dispatch Center (RCDC) will initiate UNUStRL EVENT notification to Yansington -through the Police Officer Ch Duty or On Call.
Kensington maintains 24-hour police coverage with an officer either in the 7
police office, or vehicle, or on call.
During duty hours, the Police Department maintains continuous comunications with town, county, and state law enforcement agencies.
During on call hours, the officer on call will be notified by pocket voice pager or telephme. To cover the possibility of a police officer not being available, a. seemdary notification path is in place.
Sinultaneous direct notificatien fran RCDC also goes via pocket voice pager to the Kensington l Select 2nen' and.the Daargency Managenent Director.
l After receiving and/or verifying any emargency notification message, the police will contact key members of the Kensington energency respmse
.l ' organization to notify them of the energency situation.
