i Based on our discussion on August 25 1989, I understand that your staff is working on some revisions to 10 CIR Part 170 which could be coordinated tith our initiatives to reinstate a fee cap for all topical report reviews conducted by NRC.
i We concur in your suggestion to combine these two activities and enclose i
for your-infomation a draft of a proposed SECY paper we were developing.
Since your efforts can accommodate our goals, we will not proceed with this paper.
We would appreciate an opportunity to comment on your proposed revision to 10 CFR part 170 prior to fina11 ration. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact Ron Villafranco at 492-1201.
