Dear iir. Counsil:
!.le are continuing our review of your applicaticn dated July 2,1979 which rn,uested several changes to the Appencix B Technical Spec.ifications for Millstone Station Units 1 and 2, and have determir.ed that additional infor-mation described below is needed.
1.
A technical justification as to why the suttidal rockv substrate sccpling progran should be discontinued--provide the results of this study for 1979, contrast and compare the 1979 data with the ata collected over the last seve ral years; 2.
The data on reproductive activity and condition factors collected during the trawling survey--using this data present a technical justification as to why centinued collection of this data is not aarranted; 3.
The results of the offshore ichthyoplankton net tows made in 1979 at station 5--provide as a ninimum, percent comcositicn, mean se?.scr.ai density and rank crder of abundance; also, contrast and compare the resuits with the results from the discharge collections; and 4.
An assessment of the significance of Toredo bartschi population discovered in 1975 ct the effluent samplino station--address the potential for expansion in range of this spscies, T. navalis and Lirneria spp. under both ; resent two-unit operation and future
- nree-unit operation.
