As a result of our continuing review of the North Anna FSAR, we find that we need additional information to complete our evaluation related to the Quality Assurance List. The specific information required is listed in the enclosure. Our review of this matter is esentially complete but we may transmit additional requirements.

. North Anna Unit No. 2 The following request far additional information and/or ciarification is based on NRC staff review of the Q-list as given in Tables 3.2.1-1 and 17.1.4-1 of the North Anna Unit No. 2 FSAR. The review was performed to more clearly identify the structures, systems, and components that are within the scope of Appendix B to 10 CFR Part 50.

A.

Please modify the tabulation in Table 17.1.4-1 to be consistent with Table 3.2.1-1.

It is preferable to use a single table which may be referenced in Chapter 17.

B.

For items identified in Table 17.1.4-1 indicate whether the entire structure, sjstem, or component is within the scope of Appendix B to 10 CFR Part 50.

If this is not the case, clearly identify each portion of the structure, system, or component not within the scope of Appendix B.
