1. EXPLANATION OF OCCURRENCE On . lune 7, 1980, the Reactor Building Tendon Surveillance (SP 1301-9.1) lato date was exceeded. This is +25% of the scheduled date of March 9, 1979, (+25% = 1.25 years). Contractor work on the Reactor Building Tendon Surveillance commenced April 18, 1980. As of June 2, 1980, ten tendont.

were completed out of 21 scheduled. This resulted in a violation of Technical Specification 4.4.2.1 and is reportable under Technical Specification

11. CAUSE OF Tile OCCURRENCE Prob 1 cms with availability of contractor's equipment have prevented the timely completion of this surveillance. Tendon surveillance was not scheduled to begin earlier due to the impracticality of conducting these inspections under winter weather conditions.

Ill. CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING T11E OCCURRENCE TM1-1 is in an extended cold shutdown condition, the delayed completion of the tendon surveillance has no impact on the safe operation of the unit.

IV. CORRECTIVE ACTION TAKEN OR TO BE TAKEN Immediate - Work is continuing with an expected completion date on or before .luly 15, 1980.

Long Term - None.
