The instrument air header is left in service to enhance shutdown

~In the event that the header and pressure switch fail, adequate in-strumentation exists outside the containment to detect a lov system pressure.

'At' this- time the header =ay be manually isolated. An operations memorandum

has been issued to instruct the operators to isolate the header on-lov pres-

.sure.

In the long term, an Engineering Evaluation Assistance Request vill be issued to upgrade the pressuma.svitch to LOCA qualifications or to =ove the-existing pressure switch cutside containment.
