While in a cold shutdown condition, during the conduct of Instrument Surveillance Procedure F-ISP-14-1 titled "RCIC Low Pump Suction Pressure",

the suction pressure switch (13PS-67A) was found to trip at 15.7" of mercury.

Technical Specifications Appendix A, Table 3.2-2 requires a set point of equal to or less than 15.0" of mercury.

The event occurred while the plant was in a cold shutdown condition and the RCIC System was not required to be operable. The event did not represent any hazard to the public health and safety.

Instrumentation and Control personnel recalibrated the pressure switch and verified proper operation by satisfactorily completing F-ISP-14-1.

In addition, the surveillance test frequency has been increased from monthly to weekly until satisfactory performance has been demonstrated.
