, n ei While operating at full power the llPCI steam supply isolation valve breaker alarm relay failed.

Repair necessitated both the closing of the llPCI steam supply isolation valve and de-energizing the supply breaker for a period of 2-1/2 hours. This resulted in the llPCI system being declared inoperative and surveillance on redundant systems performed per Technical Specifications Section 3.5.C and 4.5.C.

The DC coil on the alarm relay failed. The failure of the alarm relay did not prevent automatic operation of the valve but repairs required de-energizing the breaker.

Since the redundant ADS system and RCIC were available this event did not represent a serious degradation of the public's health and safety.
