During normal operations while performing Operations Surveillance Test F-St-76D titled "fligh Pressure Water Fire Protection System Valve Position '

Check,' personn'1 performing the surveillance test noted atwater leak on post indicator valve 76-FPS-30. The water was leaking from ahlubrication line which is attached to the valve barrel. Investigation revealed that the line had been struck and cut by a shovel during -snow removal operations, t In order to effect repairs it was necessary to isolate the sprinkler system in the Recirculation h!ator Generator Room which is*. contrary to the requirements of Technical Specification Appendix A, Paragraph 3.12.B. I . A -'

continuous fire watch was established, backup fire suppression equipment L was verified available, the sprinkler system was isolated, and the lubrication ;r line repaired by cutting the line and installing a coupling. ct The sprinkler system was returned to service (following repair) epprox-imately four hours after initial isolation.e: -i.
