POWER AUTHORITY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK JAMES A. FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT DOCKET NO. 50-333 ATTACHMENT TO LER 79-79-087/01T-0 Page 1 of 1 The Architect-Engineer notified the Plant Staff that three (3) supports associated with the "B" RHR System were inoperable according to the guidelines of the 14 August 1979 letter lif ting the Show Cause Order of 13 March 1979. Analysis has been performed which indicates that the system was inoperable without these supports.

Based upon preliminary load information, these supports have been upgraded.

Review of final loads indicates they are now fully acceptable. The Architect-Engineer also indicated that H10-145, a support on the "B" RHR Service Water System was inoperable and that the system was inoperable without the support.

Modifications to H10-145 were completed within seven (7) days, as required by Technical Specifications, Appendix A, Paragraph 3.5.B and the 14 August 1979 letter.

Surveillance testing of redundant systems, in accordance with the requirements of Technical Specifications, demonstrated their operability.

Therefore, the event did not represent a significant hazard to the public health and safety.
