During normal operation following plant startup and while establishing the drywell to torus differential pressure required by Technical Specifications Appendi: A, Pa agraph 3.7.A.7.a, the required differential pressure was not established wi.51n the specified time requirements (wi thin twenty-four hours of placing the mode switch in the run position).

The establishnent af this differential pressure was completed wi thin twenty-four hours and fif teen minutes of placing the mode switch in the run position.

Thus the event did not represent any significant hazard to the public health and safety.

The Operations personnel were counseled in the importance of commencing evolutions of this type at a point in time which would allow completeness of the activity within the prescribed time l imi ta t ions.
