UPDATED REVIEW SCHEDULE (EPID NO. L-2017-LLA-0030)
Dear Mr. Ngwayah:
By letter dated November 2, 2017 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML17311A268), U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff accepted the amendment request to the NRC for the Certificate of Compliance No. 1032 for HI-STORM Flood/Wind Multipurpose Canister Storage System. In the letter, staff provided a schedule for issuing the preliminary safety evaluation report (PSER) in March 2018, based on Holtecs satisfactory response to any request for additional information by January 2018. Due to the time taken to resolve the technical issues, we are revising the review schedule to issue the PSER for rulemaking in September 2019.
