DAILY HIGHLIGHT SHEARON HARRIS, UNITS 1
2 3 -5 4 The applicant (CPIL) has advised us that itZ board of directors announced that today (12/16/81) Units 3 and 4 of Shearon Harris had been cancelled due to lower need for power projections for the 1990s.
The applicant also stated that construction completion for Unit 2 has been delayed by one year, from June 1987 to June 1988.
The construction completion date for Unit 1 remains at December 1984.
.The acceptance review of the tendered OL application had been completed recently and the acceptance letter was sent on November 25, 1981.
Next week, the applicant.
plans on filing the requisite number of copies of the application for docketing.
The transmittal of the application will reflect'that it is for Units 1 and 2 and that Units 3 and 4 have been cancelled.
