Y No. CPPR-114 and CPPR-115 issued by the Atomic Energy Comission* on July 26,1974, for the construction of the North Anna Pcwr Station, Units 3 and 4, presently under construction at the Company's site in Louisa County, Virginia.

By letter, dated November 21, 1978, and supplemented by letter dated January 17, 1979, the Company filed a request for an extension of the i

latest construction completion dates because construction has been delayed due to (1) lack of construction funds and (2) voluntary postponevnent in t

k construction activities due to efforts at conservation and load sianagement.

Potential future delays are expected due to (1) unknown future construction

budget, pending a decision by the Virginia State Corporation Comissien on Virginia Electric and Power Company's requested rate relief and (2) possible L

design changes necessary to conform with current regulatory requirements.
