The EDG was secured and the operability of redunda'nt EDG 1B waq demonstrated in accordance with Technical Specification 3.8.1.1.

EDG 1A was restored to operable condition within the time limit specified by Technical Specification 3.8.1.1 and no adverse consequences resulted.

This was the first occurrence of this type.
