NOTICE OF INTENT TO PARTICIPATE AS A PARTY Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.1202(b), the NRC Staff (Staff) is required to notify the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (Board) and the parties within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of an order granting a request for a hearing as to whether it desires to participate as a party and to identify the contentions on which it wishes to participate as a party. On June 18, 2015, the Board issued a Memorandum and Order (Granting Petition to Intervene and Request for a Hearing) wherein the Board granted standing to Beyond Nuclear, Dont Waste Michigan, Michigan Safe Energy Future - Shoreline Chapter, and the Nuclear Energy Information Service (Petitioners), and admitted one contention. The Staff hereby notifies the Board and the parties of its intent to participate as a party in this adjudicatory proceeding with respect to the admitted contention.
