August 5, 2022 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION Before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Joint Proposed Schedule Consistent with the pre-hearing conference call held July 27, 2022, and the Boards Order dated July 28, 2022, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., Entergy Nuclear Palisades, LLC, Holtec International, Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC, and the Michigan Attorney General (collectively, the Parties) have consulted and agreed on the attached Joint Proposed Schedule.
While NRC Staff has elected not to participate as a party, the Parties have consulted with Staff, and Staff is in agreement with the Joint Proposed Schedule, insofar as it affects Staffs participation as a non-party. The Parties also hereby confirm their agreement to conduct an in-person oral hearing at the Boards hearing room in Rockville, MD. NRC Staff does not object to the hearing location and format.
As indicated during the pre-hearing conference call, the Parties, in consultation with NRC Staff, expect to align on and submit a joint motion to govern the disclosures required by 10 CFR
§§ 2.336 and 2.1316(c). The Parties hope to submit that motion within the next two weeks.
The undersigned respectfully requests that the Board approve the Joint Proposed Schedule.
