Dear Sir or Madam:

In Reference 1 Entergy submitted the Nine Month Response to NRC Generic Letter 2008 which contained a commitment to submit appropriate changes to the plant Technical Specifications. Reference 2 amended this commitment to:

RBS will evaluate changes to the plant Technical Specifications based upon the final, approved version of Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF) Traveler for unacceptable gas accumulation in ECCS. The submittal will be within 180 days following NRC publication of the Notice of Approval of the TSTF Traveler in the Federal Register. This 180 day submittal will include a schedule for submittal of an amendment request based upon the TSTF.

Entergy has completed the review of the TSTF as it applies to River Bend Station (RBS).

The evaluation has determined the application of the TSTF to RBS is appropriate and will submit an amendment request within 60 days of this letter.
