Subject:
Docket No. 50-206 Amendment No. 102 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Enclosed are three executed and thirty-seven conformed copies of Amendment No. 102 in Docket No. 50-206. Amendment No. 102 consists of Proposed Change No. 105 to the Technical Specifications incorporated into Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 as Appendices A and B.
Proposed Change No. 105 is a request to modify the existing Technical Specifications to be consistent with the current Standard Technical Specifications (STS) forwarded by NRC letter, dated March 23, 1981.
The Specifications to be modified relate to "3.13 Shock Suppressors (Snubbers)
Operability," "4.14 Shock Suppressors (Snubbers) Surveillance," and an item of 6.10.2 dealing with record keeping. The corresponding sections of the STS are 3/4.7.9 and 6.10.2.
It is respectfully requested that Proposed Change No. 105 be reviewed promptly and appropriate action taken.
Please designate the approved change to the Technical Specifications to become effective 30 calendar days after receipt to provide time for incorporation of these changes into our system of manuals.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22, Proposed Change No. 105 is exempt from Class III fee. This amendment, which results from a written Commission request for the application, clarifies technical specifications by conforming to the content of the Standard Technical Specifications.
The amendment has minor safety significance and is issued for the convenience of the Commission. Based on these considerations, no fee is submitted herewith.
