Dear Mr. Flores:
Enclosed is a copy of the Dam Safety Inspection Report for Safe Shutdown Impoundment (SSI)
Dam prepared by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The Enclosure contains the results of an inspection on April11, 2013, on the-SSI Dam at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2. The inspection included the SSI Dam, the equalization canal, and the portions of the SSJ visible from the dam.
During this inspection, no conditions were observed that would adversely affect the safety of the dam. canal. or SSI. The maintenance of the dam and impoundment appeared to be satisfactory.
At FERC's request, the Enclosure is withheld from public disclosure since it contains critical energy infrastructure information.
The Enclosure transmitted herewith contains Security-Related information. When separated from the Enclosure, this document is DECONTROLLED.
