Question re: KI Hello Patricia-As part of our Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program, the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (in conjunction with the Delaware Division of Public Health) conducts annual KI distribution sessions in various locations throughout the 10-mile EPZ surrounding the Salem-Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations. This is very popular program and is always well-received by EPZ residents here in Delaware.

The only concern that we have is that our current stockpile of 130mg tablets will expire in 2014.

Is the NRC still maintaining responsibility for the KI program? If so, how can DEMA go about replenishing our current stockpile?
