The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed the application submitted by FPL Energy Duane Arnold, LLC (FPL Energy) for the license renewal application for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC) and has identified areas where additional information is needed to complete its review. Enclosed is the NRC staffs request for additional information (RAI). We request that you provide your RAI responses to these questions no later than 30 days after the issuance of this letter, in order to maintain the environmental review schedule.
